The Festival of Presence - United in Silence

We bring a live fundraising event to listen to wisdom, meet in meditation and support yoga for senior citizens and children in children's homes. Get ready: 14 May 2022 in the Přítomnost Cinema in Prague.

We invite you to a fundraising festival, where you can dive into the depths of meditation with some of most experienced meditation gurus, and support a good cause at the same time. The Festival of Presence - United in Silence will take place on 14th May 2022 in Prague's Přítomnost Cinema. It's entire proceeds will be used to support our main projects: yoga classes for senior citizens and children in children's homes. Join us to listen to some inspirational talks, to meet in meditation and meet like-minded beings.

A series of interviews with people experienced in meditation, whom we talked to in the frame of the United in Silence project, lead us to an idead to organize a live event with a similar theme. Through the Festival of Presence, we also aim at supporting key activities of the Mindfulness Foundation, which is free yoga for disadvantaged groups.

Tickets

You can reserve your place at the festival on GoOut.

The number of participants is limited by the capacity of the cinema hall (ca 100 people). The entire proceeds will be credited towards a public collection to support yoga for senior citizens and children in children's homes.

The path to a meditation practice and to revealing the treasure it offers may be different for each of us. Various ways for various people. But behind all pictures, believes and concepts, there is silence, peace and absolute presence. Recognizing our true nature.

Why yoga and meditation for senior citizens

By bringing yoga classes, we believe that we support healthy experiencing of the present moment, the joy of sharing and thus help improve participants' quality of life. To get the best benefit from yoga practice, regular exercise is important. Thanks to your support, we can bring it to the senior citizens in an evergrowing extent.

You cannot make it to the Festival but still wish to support the fundraising collection?

If you are not able to take part at the Festival, you may still support senior citizens by an on-line payment below. Thank you. 🧡
